Amazing Greece Team Kathisma is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Lefkada. Surrounded by high hills and rocks, the more than 1km long beach is extremely popular among the young population because of its beach bars. The glorious beach is located on the west coast of the island, 15 km from the city of Lefkada.
The contrast of the white sand mixed with fine pebbles and of the deep blue water of the sea creates an exotic scenery. The water deepens sharply and needs attention for both young and adults especially when there are big waves. In that case swimming should be avoided as it might be very dangerous. There are no lifeguards on the beach and it’s not rare that someone gets drowned.

It is one of the most cosmopolitan beaches on the island, attracting a large number of visitors. Large parts of the beach are organized with parasols and sunbeds to rent. Some of the bars, don’t charge their sunbeds, instead you could use them with an ordered drink or food. For those who prefer to stay away from crowds and loud music, there are quieter spots towards the ends.
