Amazing Greece Team The beach in Monastiraki is located at a small distance from the homonymous fishing village, on the south coast of the prefecture of Fokida. The beach has small, white pebbles, but also gravel in some places, with deep and crystal-clear blue waters. The green nature that surrounds it combined with the so-called by the locals “blue lake” which is located just behind the beach, compose a beautiful setting. The small lagoon, which is separated from the sea by a narrow piece of land, is a special phenomenon that makes the beach unique.
Part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas but there is also plenty of free space. Near the beach, there are many bars, coffee shops and several traditional taverns. The beach lies about 2.5 km away from Efpalio.
