Amazing Greece Team Agios Romanos beach is sandy and sheltered from the extra strong Tinos winds, making it perfect for children. It offers shade under trees and lovely tranquil water for swimming. It is one of the most popular locations of the island thanks to the golden sand, transparent shallow waters, shady trees and wonderful view to the island of Syros. Yet, it maintains serenity making it a relaxing quiet spot to swim and sun bathe.
There are lounges and umbrellas at one end and a traditional taverna set back from the busier end of the beach. Here, you can also find many rooms to let. At the point where the road ends there is the small chapel of St. Romanos. The lovely beach is located in the southwestern part of the island, a little after Kionia and 12 km away from Chora. The beach can be accessed relatively easy through the road.
