Agrari Beach – Mykonos island

Agrari Beach - Mykonos island

Agrari is a beautiful beach, secluded from the noisy and the crazy crowds. Although there are a few rocks on the shore to get in to the sea except at certain points, the sea and beach are otherwise perfect. The sand is coarse and the sea has deep crystal-clear waters. There are a couple of small restaurants and bars that offer sunbeds to hire on one side, and lots of space to lay your towel and stretch out to bath on the other. If you would like to have some fun or cause your adrenaline rush, there is a variety of water sports and activities available. On part of the beach naturism is allowed.

Driving to Agrari is a bit of a trip down some steep hills, but you can always come by water taxi from Platis Gialos. If you are a hiking lover you can get the bus to Elia and then walk for 15 mins past the end of Elia to reach Agrari. The beach is located in the south part of the island, 8.5km from Chora and is protected from the north winds. Agrari is definitely one of the most relaxing beaches on the island and one of those you shouldn’t miss to visit whilst on the island of Mykonos.
