Amazing Greece Team Alonaki Fanariou is an amazing beach, located in the region of Preveza, only 24km from Parga, and 30km from Preveza. This is definitely one of the best beaches in the area. A very scenic, shingly beach surrounded by cliffs with a groovy little beach bar and crystal-clear sea water, all in a small and well tucked cove. A few sunbeds are also available but if you arrive late, they will be probably all taken. There is also a shower and a cabin for changing clothes. You need beach shoes as the seabed is stony, but this does not spoil this lovely beach. There are lots of rocks on both sides of the cove, good for snorkeling and also the small island in front where you can do some water jumping and snorkeling.
To get to Alonaki, just follow the signs that start from the Preveza – Igoumenitsa national road at the height of the Acheron River valley. It is a dirt road which is quite a long and harsh ride. At the end of the road, you can find plenty of parking under the trees. The beach is near to Nekromanteio, not far from the Acheron Springs.
