Platis Gialos

Among its frequent visitors you will discover families, tourists and water sports fans. 5 km away from Chora. This is the departure point for the boats to Super Paradise, Paradise, Agrari and Elia.
Lia
Far-off somewhere in the south, 11,5km away from Chora. A beautiful beach with emerald waters, organized with deck-chairs, sunshades and a brand new lounge beach bar restaurant. Next to Lia, the solitary beaches Tsagari and Pano-Kato Tigani are found, accessible only to those who have a 4X4.
Paradise
The definition of all day frenzied fun, 5.5 km south of Chora! The immense beach with the magical seabed and the thick sand moves to the rhythm of the beach bars operating here. The agenda of Paradise (Kalamopodi for the locals) includes endless parties at the Tropicana, countless shots and powerful decibels. It also scores very high in organization as it provides umbrellas, sun beds, showers, mini market, rooms to let and beach bars. At Paradise there is a reef that attracts divers from everywhere.

Paraga
The small organized beach of Paraga reserves a special place in the hearts of young people. The duo, fine sand – blue waters, is also present here, while the view of the ancient island of Delos and the rock in the middle of the sea, complete the picture. Paraga (5 km from Chora) is also easily accessible by boat from Platis Gialos.

Kalo Livadi
It is the opposing force of Psarou, another popular “meeting point” for Greek and foreign jetsetters, 9 km south of Chora. A sandy beach, surrounded by the deep blue of the Aegean, fully equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, beach bars, water sports school and numerous restaurants. There are quite a few who choose the location for beach volley. Also preferred by a great number of families.
Ornos
Preferred by families and mostly Greeks, it is one of the most frequently visited organized beaches of Mykonos. The small fish port facing the North accommodates taverns, restaurants, café bars, sun beds, umbrellas, rooms to let and wi-fi. In this sheltered bay dock many yachts and sailboats, while this is the departure point for the boats to Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia. 4 km away from Chora. The sports enthusiasts should know that here they can also hone their skills in beach volley.

Kalafatis
Water sports enthusiasts set an informal appointment at Kalafatis, the large bay 14 km southeast of Chora, as the northern wind that always seems to blow over Divounia favors windsurfing, jet ski and tubes. One of the most beautiful beaches in Mykonos, around 11km away from Chora next to Kalafatis. The small yet organized beach of Aghia Anna has view to the Divounia peninsula, enjoys the serenity and initiates those who will select it, to total relaxation. Here you will find a diving school and plenty of water sports.
Agrari
A quiet, sheltered beach at the southwest of the island (9 km from Chora), ideal if you want to avoid the crowds. The typical Myconian scenery requires sand to break into the sea, umbrellas, sun beds and water sports. The road is narrow and with sharp turns, so if you want to avoid them you can access Agrari by taking the boat from Platis Gialos.

Agios Stefanos
Spacious, with shallow waters, family atmosphere and very close to the new port, it is ideal for kids and for those who have joined the married club. Along the coast line you will find a row of taverns, café bars and hotels, who have undertaken the admittedly good beach service. The sunset views of Delos and Rhenia, seen across, are staggering. Situated 3 km north of Chora.
Elia
The largest and the most organized sandy beach of Mykonos, with shallow transparent waters, 14 km southeast of Chora. In terms of sports, it offers a choice of jet ski, windsurfing, water ski, tubes, parachute and diving. Preferred by sports enthusiasts, gay, and nudist communities. Among its advantages is also the convenient parking as well as the presence of a lifeguard and a masseur.
