Kalogria beach is one of the most famous beaches on Sithonia. A stunningly beautiful beach with very nice soft sand and easy gentle slope into the sea. It is a long and narrow beach with clear beautiful blue and green sea that simply beckons you to swim in it all day. The water is very clean, shallow and calm, perfect for families with young children. There is a rock island at about 200m from the beach and it is one of the favorite places for scuba diving in Halkidiki. Surrounded by a pine forest, offers relaxation and amazing sunsets.
In Kalogria beach you will find beach bars on the north side of the coast, as well as some tavernas. There is also a watersport center where you can hire pedal boats and canoes. The beach is located 5 km south of Nikiti on the road to Neos Marmaras. It is easily accessible by car through a dirt road, approximately 500m long, which runs parallel to the main street. The beach does get crowded so, you are advised to get there early in the morning in order to find parking space and a good place for yourself. We recommend to avoid it during the peak season and on weekends.
