Kokkari beach – Samos island

This beach of pebbles is only a few hundred yards to the main village area of Kokkari. It is quiet with crystal clear water and well sheltered from any harsh winds. If you are not used to walking on stone pebbles it may hurt your feet a bit. The seabed is beautiful with lots of fish, sea urchins and other creatures to find with some snorkeling. The beach offers limited natural shade, but is organized with sun loungers, parasols and a nice beach bar, serving drinks and food. It is mostly visited by locals and tourists staying in the nearby hotels. Recommended when you visit Kokkari and definitely worth a visit if you are staying close by.
